Wasn’t @dignity ‘s fault, though … People were building those kits AS we were filming, so sometimes the glue wasn’t dry on the kit. A crazy fun, hectic, manic day. 🙂

the problem with two rotors is that if one gets hit the chopper will turn in to a sycamore seed but more brick like where if a hind gets hit its one of five so is just able to land @dignity

Still not sure if I actually want to get into that game, but I may just get some of those to play around with, because the model is amazing. 🙂
Love the cobra, that profile means business, sure gonna ruin a tankers day if they see that bad boy pop up and let rip with the missiles…
Cobras can also carry air to air sidewinder missles which the MI-24s will have a hard time dealing with.
Hinds are also troop carriers which the Cobras most definitely are not. Granted they don’t carry a lot 4-6 I think. Their are also many variants.
The Rockets on the Cobra are in the circular pods 2.5 or 3 inch. area weapons. The longer tubes in groups of 2/4 are the anti tank missles, TOW wire guided on the early models and Hell fire on the mid/late models. The chin turret is 20mm. It can mount various mini guns on wings/weapon pylons.
Pretty sure this is what the kit has on it, @tibur , minus the sidewinders. Two hardpoints per wing, one carries the 2.5″ rocket pods “template weapons” (Hydra, I think), the other carries the TOWs. I’m sure later versions will add options for AGM-114 Hellfires or late-model Sidewinders.
Soviet Hind kits carry two 57mm rocket launcher “hell-template” pods on each wing, plus a double hardpoint for the AT-9s, plus a 12.7mm GAZ gun.
