We continue looking at what the guys are up to as they build their Space Stations.
Which Build Pattern would you follow in your tinkering?
To me, this looks more fun than the games. I just like building stuff.
The kit basing of any game seems to attract me more than the actual game sometimes.
Looks like such a fun kit to build with!
I think studying the manner in which each of you has gone about your construction gives a glimpse into your personality.
Dave is orderly and logical
Justin is chaotic
John knows the value of subcontracting his work for efficiency
And Warren is just under tension
You win. Also, question is how much caffeine does Warren consume in a day?
I wanna build a spacestation as you see in the Tie-fighter game intro.
So many choices. Well designed kit.
Dad stress.
I know it well.
Hang on!
Is John now sub-contracting out Warren’s hobby time here?
A thought regarding the biggass space station… it reminds me of a certain other space station. Maybe it should be called Ba-BOW-lon 5?

I bet it’s very quiet there when not filming.
Given the different methodologies on display I can’t wait to see what the finished products look like … especially Warren’s … does stress improve creative function or will he end up with something that needs removed from existence?

The fact that the stations are modular and customiseable really adds to it. These are pre-war stations? they wouldnt be uniform

Loving the different build styles. I would say that I am a mix of Dave and Justin. John just needs more weapons, space stations can never have too many weapons.
I think when I first start off I’d follow Dave’s method of sorting by letter, but soon after building my first station I’d move into Warren’s style trying to really put the kit under tension to build increasingly awesome things.
Energy drinks are bad m’kay? 🙂

Why am i not surprised Warren’s first thought is to use the sprue instead of (or rather in addition to) the parts?

I like the idea of attaching additional platforms with weapons where otherwise wouldn’t be room for more weapons (picture 2).
And its nice to know you can build anything you like, because the scenario dictates what the stadion is able to do and\or withstand.
This is like intergalactic geek legos 🙂
