Pillage starter is firmly on my radar, nice sample of terrain and lootables with the tokens and some mini’s. I hope the starter book works as a good physical rules reference since I use the pdf rulebook

But they are also the “least” Discworld-y (the first two). I think “Guards! Guards!” (First of the City Watch series) would be the best starting point.

If you want to start I would suggest the first two which are a single story: The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic. And in my opinion the best of the others involve the City Watch.
