I *have* been on ab it of a tear the lat week o0n the old backlog…..

@dawfydd – impressive! My six are in boxes, I look at all the parts, and the results that Sigur Battle Brush gets (red Zaku above!), and I just get intimidated.

Are they hard to build?

[dawfydd 12709xp 2]

@grantinvanman nah, not really. You can get some fiddly bits now and then, but generally Gunpla – especially more recent kits -are intended to be builder-friendly. And I’ve not done anything beyond straight builds on mine. No panel lining, no glue, no paint.  I do tend to stick around the High Grade 1/144 end of the pool, but they still get good results. And the Real Grades exist for a more nuanced build.

If you are intimidated though, I recommend grabbing yourself an Entry Grade kit (they come in RX-78-2, Nu and Strike Gundam flavours) and give that a go

I’ve got five HG kits and one RG – and the RG one is REALLY cool looking but more intimidating.

I’ll get stuck into these sometime these week I hope, after I do some more of my Necrons commission. Work, then play!

Awesome; I’ve got five of the HG, one of the RG (which blew my mind when I opened the box!).

Once I do more Necrons for my commission, I’ll get to these. Work, then GunPlay!
