I have painted up 12 more Hormagaunts. I somehow managed to get them done in under 2 days. Only 20 gargoyles to go and I’ve ran out of Nids to paint. Still not a full army though. Mantic Space Zombies nect up though, I think.
Continuing on with my Zayna bust. Skin is nearly done and then its onto the hair. She’s getting there. Dead happy with progress so far esp as this is my first ever bust 🙂

Happy Monday everyone 😀
Just wanted to show you a Sigmar mini I’ve painted up for a local store painting comp.
Would love to know what you think?

Hey guys! I’ve been painting more of the Black Scorpion Old West stuff.
Here’s the latest of the desperados. Possibly my favourite minies of the range.

Dropzone Commander, UMC Berlin cruiser

and Moscow heavy cruiser:

@brushstroke beautifully done.
The more I look at it, the more I like it. The white is perhaps a little clean for my taste, but the execution is great. The free hand on the cloak is super smooth.
What are you using for the leaves on the base?
@georgesealy Thank you 🙂
I know what you mean about the white being too clean. Ordinarily I do weather my minis but unfortunately due to tight time constraints of the comp deadline I opted not to. I also figured it showed off my blending skills for white (can’t hurt in a comp 😉 )
For the leaf scatter I used some sort of seed casing. I bought them from here and they look even better in person.
first time I’ve used them and I’m really pleased how they turned out

Still finishing up a few MAS bases that I gave away on stream the other weekend. So love the stuff MicroArts makes. top banana fro basing. More details n that in the project section > https://www.ontabletop.com/project/1223336/#snav
Almost completed the first of the Numidian light horse from Victrix. I have tried to make the skin tone a bit darker, something which I have not done so often before. Normally I paint them more like the comparative slinger to the right. Since the horse is for the Carthaginian army I want the different units within it to reflect how multiethnic the force really was.

The skintone was done using Arabic shadow, African shadow, and Basic skintone from Scale75.
Some post apocalyptic scatter terrain I finished for myself.

They were very easy to make and fun to rust/chip. All they are made of is a couple of gw oil drums, some air drying clay, and sand.
Painted a Confederate Rebellion Starter Posse for Wild West Exodus, picked up on Friday, done my Thursday. If only everything was painted as fast!
