I have been recently been building up my Ariadne Force for Infinty, the more I painted the more an idea formed.

I have just received my Defiance pledge after having it all shipped in one go so I thought I would have a go at painting it and trying to learn to use my airbrush at the same time.

I played Battlefleet Gothic quite a bit back in the day, so originally I was thinking this game was like advanced BFG. I mean, Andy Chambers designed both rules sets and there is a lot that is reminiscent of the […]

The ORKA sets sail from Enmity Island with its plucky crew of misfits and maniacs, looking to bag the biggest, meanest fish they can find. For my series of videos for Orktober 2021, I’m creating dioramas that explore the question: […]

I'm building a magnetic 4x4 wargaming table out of 1ft tiles for a cyberpunk wargame I designed with my brother.

The G5 Service Station has it all for Orks and goblins, whether they’re Speed Freaks, Warhammer 40,000 Nobs, Blood Bowl fans, or just plain hungry! Fill up on ammo, squig pie, promethium and fungus beer! Bag yourself some Gouged Eye […]

With the new edition of Infinity we had new interest from local players. We've started a new escalation league to bring players through and I noticed several wanted to take up my old faction - Yu Jing. I like to […]

Having seen JOhns great work on here I found out the FactoruM are running an event in a week and decided to give it a go. So now I need to panic assemble and paint 8 mechs for the event......and […]

The Formula Ork Racing Championship is my brutally violent, ludicrously fast racing series for Beastsnaggas. Warhammer 40,000 Orks don’t enjoy peacetime, so when they have a break from smashing Space Marines or Imperial Guard, they’re honing their war skills on […]

I have been working on 3D printing and painting up a mercenary company for Battletech Alpha Strike.

A place to document my journey into Infinity, starting with the Code One, Operation Crimson Stone box.

Trying to get my second Stargrave crew together to get some games played. Trying to make them different to my Talons of Solubris. Hopefully with a totally different aesthetic look, Captain and First Mate powers and will inspire an opponent […]

So there is this weird person on here that does has a crush for "The best movie ever" and he decided to gift me a snapfit Slave One. This is my first snapfit kit but the parts do look exactly […]

An intermittent log of my steps into the tabletop world of Battletech, after decades spent enjoying the videogames & novels (but never the cartoon - remember, WE DO NOT SPEAK OF THE CARTOON)....

Collection of sci fi minitures for use with stargrave, 5 parsecs and other sci fi skirmish games.

Painting project to get some of the latest releases from Traders Galaxy for Bot War into the Salute 2021 painting competition cabinets. This project is all about the Deceiver's Cult of the Destroyer. I will be painting up 5 bots […]

I have talked about it enough but never done a project on it possibly as the forces were painted many years ago.

having been piqued by John's recent return to Battletech and my long standing love of all things mechy I have returned to battletech after an absence of twenty years.

A project charting adventures with big little Titans.

A Log of everything I've painted in the past few years to keep track of it all, and since i keep losing my paint schems to keep a note of these. Stuff done and currently working on: 30k Imperial Fists […]

In March 2020 I started to repaint my Nurgle armies, but then a real-life plague hit the world. And I lost the feel for painting a Scifi army that had become a historical army. So 18 months later I gave […]

Way back "in the day" I'd seen a BattleTech custom build that stuck in my head for Decades. I've finally obtained a 1/60 Locust that I finally have the techniques, resources and materials to build a Diorama of a Pirate […]

Legion has grown in popularity in my local meta and I've been a bit late jumping on the bandwagon. But now I'm here and kept myself to just the two factions! This project details those factions and a table build.

Tuffy does an unboxing

In the 41st Millennium a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. ... If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, […]

Designing my ship for the game Stargrave among other games using 2nd Dynasty Scout Ship BETA and expansions and TinkerCAD.

One project to rule them all for everything I do for the game Stargrave and Five Parsecs From Home, from terrain, to miniatures and possibly even the odd battle report. Why both games at once? Because all the pieces use […]

I have decided to get into Crisis Protocol, because I think some of the miniatures are cool and I want to paint them. So I thought I would share my progress as I make it.

As Beasts of War 1.0 is lost to the ages along with my old Star Wars content I have decided to port over all my old photos and then document finishing off the rest of the collection and also moving […]

In this project I'll be taking my fledgling steps into Marvel Crisis Protocol. I'll be trying out some techniques and paints I've never used before. Wish me luck.

My local club petitioned it's players to paint 100 Space Marines for charity as a tribute to Captain Tom Moore. Each marine had to be from a different chapter. I painted 5.

Finally finishing the core set rebels and then maybe more if am tempted by new shinnies

Unboxing of I am the law by warlord games

I painted up some of the Primaris troop options, and I've been playing games with them with my Ravenwing, and Deathwing, but I'm interested in trying without the cool unique Dark Angel units. So I'm adding some of the cool […]

A long long time ago someone boxed up all their stuff to go to University where they met me. Some of those boxes have never been opened, until today. Help me work out what everything was, what it would be […]

Having completed or semi-completed four Astra Militarum projects on OTT/BOW to reflect the four seasons Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and built or converted over 20 vehicles, looking at my work bench I can see four Leman Russ tanks, a […]

Quick project to cover painting up some miniatures for a charity raffle.

Starting to paint the first Kickstarter project that I backed.

2021 Bot War painting challenge. To paint for 30 minutes daily for 20 consecutive days, completing at least 5 models during that time. This year, its the rise of the Atlanticans!

Like an awful lot of us I'm building a crew, shall we say a familiar theme to those who know me well.

This project will be a slow burn - one to savour - I suspect that choosing miniatures will be the bulk of the work (and fun!). I intend to source miniatures and terrain as the campaign progresses, hopefully a good […]

My attempt to squeeze some hobby in, and try to get back into 40k gaming. Hopefully before they get to 10th edition!
