Warlord are picking up production of these, but the entire collection is available on the Mongoose store. I love ’em, the style is so different from all the other miniatures games. If you can, Justin, get your hands on a Lawmaster bike- so great. There are rules for highway combat, which I haven’t tried yet.
Most of the Dredd range of minis have that retro feel of the 2000AD comics of the 80’s & 90’s. They (mongoose publishing) are even doing a Rogue Trooper tabletop war game (kickstarter awhile ago now). So far I am impressed with the miniatures, but not with the delays for delivering the miniatures for the rogue trooper kickstarter.
The infantry look ok, but that robot, yuck!!
You’re kidding, right ? The robot is retro-awesome, but the infantry has the flaws of the nineties…
Yeah, I noticed the thinning of the bodies when you saw them side-on. That’s what you mean, right? I had that on a couple of my judges, but my other minis were fine.
Never been a fan of “retro” robots, I absolutely loathe that piece of junk from lost in space, bleehh!!
Mongoose has some primers for the rules available to download here (near the bottom)… http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/miniatures/judge-dredd/rulebook/judge-dredd-miniatures-game-rulebook.html
I like the retro look of the Dredd miniature range myself, but I can understand how it could also be offputing to others as well – I’m looking forward to getting my ABC warriors whenever they finally manage to get them out..
Justin is so much more pleasant to watch when doing videos on his own then when he’s in a group setting.
I have to agree with you that this is when he shines and I’m not talking about his head 😛
fyi there SOV as in soviet not S.O.V 🙂
look cool though
