I agree with Justin. Sorry John. 🙂
Actors who’ve played Scots to be sure; Sean Connery, Liam Neeson, Christofer Lambert, David O’Hara.
It’s Connor macleod alright. Mel Gibson as WW has way diffrent hair.
It’s Connor 🙂
Justin is correct it is Highlander based
not only is Christopher lambert there as Colin McCloud.
also Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez as played by Sean Connery is the grizzled vet.
Agreed, noticed Ramirez before McLeod. 🙂
Agreed on both counts.
Awesome minis, truly
Definately Connor MacLeod. Ariadna seem to be big on their movie cameos – I noticed the Van Zan / Reign of Fire reference straight away lol.
Connor ‘Forehead’ MacLeod
You mean ‘Fivehead’ don’t you?
Connor , great figs from CB.
I seem to recall last time I had a look at Infinity that the Chainrifle where made prior to the Adriana being send off, as a low tech rifle for wars in the 3rd world
Love the liam neeson rob roy sculpt
well its obviously conner mcleod as they have a William Wallace figure already which is who braveheart was…

I think they went for all their favourite Scottish film themed actors.
Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, Liam Neeson and David O’Hara.
Connor Macleod, Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez, Rob Roy McGregor and Mad Stephen from Braveheart. (“My Ireland”)
Just saying…
Definitely agree with this.
brilliant looking figures, I would say Christopher Lambent & Connery. especially after john called them skirt wearers. the sword looks like Wallace’s claymore perhaps?
It’s definitely Connor Mcleod. And the guy with the Red Kilt? Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez (Sean Connery). At a push the guy with the chain rifle could be Rob Roy (Liam Neeson) I suppose.
Don’t worry about Ariadna having Chain Rifles, guys – apparently they’re pretty low tech weapons for people that can’t shoot straight.
I seem to recall reading some fluff about the idea coming from hoodlums that Macgyvered hand held vacuum cleaners that had been put in reverse. Personally, I prefer the idea that they were nicked off William Gibson – someone used one in one of the Bridge Trilogy books and it made quite a mess…
As it came from a rpg I am sure they “stole from”/”where inspired by” a lot of sources – I know I my time I where inspired by a lot of stuff from the news to Law & order or any book I happen to read
Sorry John but in case Justin is correct. That is a Frenchman playing a Scotsman and a Scotsman playing an Egyptian.
FWIW, chain rifles are either made/sold directly by Yu Jing, or licenced from them.
All that Teseum has to be worth something in trade.
Screaming with a gun actually might have a purpose- it opens your mouth and lets the pressure (which you perceive as sound) in on the back of the eardrums, which *might* anecdotally reduce hearing damage.
Also lots of automatic shotguns have pumps for clearing jams and running low powered loads like breaching or less than lethal rounds.
Nice unboxing. The faces do really look like actors as mentioned above.
Is it necessary to fill the gaps on these minis? Or will that simply cause more problems with the details.
Please reply if you know…
There are occasional miniatures that don’t quite meet the army list, please advise with my examples below:
45th Highland Rifles ‘Galwegian’
Miniature – Christopher Lambard look alike with sword and pistol on the hip.
Army List – only displays options for Rifle, Chain rifle, Boarding shotgun with smoke grenades and all having CCW.
With no rifle on the mini which point cost do I choose? Does he get to use a rifle if he is against that cost?
6th Caledonian Infantry Regiment – Scots Guards
Miniature (1) – Wide stance soldier – DEP anti tank pipe on shoulder
Miniature (2) – Flowing cape – two SMGs outstretched forwards
Army List – These two miniatures both share the same description / cost line.
With the DEP mini (1) having no evident SMGs does he have to strictly use the DEP only? Does mini (2) get to use a DEP seeing as it is against his cost line?
