So, we have some awesome plans for what you can win this weekend as you comment on the Live Blog posts.
There are some awesome paint sets for you to snap up allowing you to get stuck into The Army Painter method.
I’m using army painter too recently. In combination with citadel paints. Their spray cans are especially very nice.
I’ve got some of these, love what they are bringing to the hobby.
Really fantastic prizes! I’ve only ever used the Army Painter brushes and the odd spray! The paint collection looks great!
So not that long ago when I got back into painting little things I got a small set of paints so that I could do a tank or two. The better half asked how many more paints I would be getting and I thought about the trap she had set and still fell right in. 🙂

Army painter is hard to find in local shops. I think because of this RuneWars, they will start carrying the army painter line. I’m excited to use some more of their paints.
I love AP paints and would like to get my hands on this. I also hope to see somebody using the new blood effects during this weekend.

I’ve been hearing some really positive things about Army Painter lately and my local gaming store just opened up an AP section. Looks like it’s about time to give ’em a try!
That set looks so nice! I recently got some miscellaneous army painter paints to try them out, but I have been lazy.

Anyone have any comments about how these work in airbrushes? I know you’d need to thin them but is it worth it?
I have only few AP paints, and I’ve used only one through airbrush (“spaceship exterior” or something like that) and it worked just fine, thinned with water.
I haven’t used Army Painter paints yet though I do use the white primer (rattle can) , washes, brushes, and matte clear coat (rattle can). I should try some of the paints sometime, I use mostly Vallejo now with an occasional P3 or Citadel mixed in, Tamia and Scale 75 don’t seem to exist in my area.
I am really excited about these prizes, they’re all fantastic!

Ok… I must admit that I’d REALLy like to get one of these paint sets. It has done wonders for me up until now. I’m sold!
Looks like a really nice paint set. I am currently having to build up my paint store after being out of the hobby for a couple of years, but it is a slow process.
I have been looking for a new starter set lately. Army Painter have a few sets with varying numbers of paint pots – makes it hard to chose.
I find that I use Citadel, Army Painter and Vallejo depending on the color and the miniature set.
Recently bought the mega paint set and i must say that i like the bottles so much more than the citadel ones.
I had picked up their previous mega set and have been very happy with the paints in it. I’d like to see what tints I’m missing to fill in triads.
Haven’t quite got into the AP method due to costs of replacing current paints, this box set looks like a good way to get in and if new to hobby this set is definitely a great place to start with you paint range.

aaagh those new army painter sets look awesomes. Been using several of their paints and they great – and the regiment brush is tops for chucking down the base layers!

I have used a lot of different paints over the years but Army Painter is definitely one of my favorite ranges. Their washes are superb and are used on all my minis, a mega set like this might just replace a lot of other paints on my paint rack.

I’ve worked with some of their paints before. They were quite nice. however I’ve already fully bought the P3 line, and I’ve branched out heavily in to vallejo. I’m not keen on buying in to another range, but if I were to win them I’d definitely end up usig them.
Being color blind, I really find the different shades easy to distinguish from each other, any paint range for me that has clear progressions from base coat to highlight really helps me. Nice work guys! Just got to find more of there paints, skeleton bone is ALWAYS sold out. The only difficulty I have found is that the army painter range is a little thinner then some others, which makes it a little hard to dry brush, but great for airbrushing and base coating. Besides letting it sit on the palette anyone have tip for getting the paint to thicken up really fast?
I can always use more paint.

Locally it’s Reaper and Vallejo that are hard to find here (Maritime provinces of Canada).
Thankfully I have a store I can walk to that carries Army painter, so I often use it in my airbrush, and just about always use their inks.

Great collection! Really like the Tones i Army Painter….soft tone, strong tone and dark tone are just so usefull for a blended matt look!

Like I said in previous post, Army Painter is a great. I like how they are packed now, organized and easy to take for an away painting session.
I have always been a Vallejo fan myself but I am getting curious to try the army painter.
