So back in early 2026 I went to Bremer Tabletoptage 2026 and played a demo of Dreamscape Collision by Fabulous Summer Games. It’s a German game so the homepage and the rules can be found (for free) here.

    How the game works:

You are The Sleeper and you’re dreaming. So is your opponent. You have a deck of 30 cards with upgrades, effects and minions. Summoning cards from your hand onto the table costs you dreampoints which is also your dreamers health. Once you hit zero you wake up and your opponent wins. Should neither wake up the dreamer who has the most points left wins.

I really have a hard time with learning new rules but this ruleset is really simple. It’s printed on one sheet of A6 paper. And I was playing within minutes.

There is no restrictions in regards to terrain and board design because: it’s all a dream! Go nuts! For two players it’s said to be played on a 2′ x 2′ and 3′ x 3′ for four players.

Being a small startup they currently supply 3D printed minis but the cards are made professionally.

Only negative points I have with this (and I did talk to the creator over this after the demo) are as follows:

    • some artwork is AI generated. They are aware of potential problems with that but they want to get someone to design stuff further down the road.
    • cards potentially hard to read for colour blind people. The colours of the cards are hard to see at times and they acknowledge that and promised to change things with later print runs.
    • card text partially very tiny. They are aware and want to change that as well.

If you want something quick to play, I highly recommend this game. See more pictures here and I did a quick unboxing:

That sounds like a lot of fun, actually. Only in German? Do they plan to do an English version?

I guess in the long run maybe. The rules are simple enough that an online translation tool should do the trick but the cards are still only in German.

Finished the minis. You can see (especially at one of the sleepers) that the prints are still a WIP and need some more fine tuning.

Thank you. A quick and not dirty but colourful job thanks to speedpaints. Sadly they also show the flaws in 3D printed minis. At least in this batch. Especially the sleeper on the right with a very noticeable layer line across the body. That’s where the paint settles XD
