So that’s settled. I’ll be painting these old guys and maybe strip the one I got painted of eBay back in the day.  Progress will be reported here 😉

Yes, I like the old models a lot more and I can’t remember when I bought the last Games Workshop miniature (not counting the last Blood Bowl release) So, working on the pile of shame instead of spending more money on a system I don’t really play anymore 😉

fair play mate, i’m more or less of the same mind. any ideas on a colour scheme or are you going to just go with the flow?

I think I’ll go full on old school but with a little more detail. won’t be golden daemon class but it’ll do.

Started stripping the commandos.

I’m now letting them soak over night and then watch what how it turns out.

So, cleaned. Now I’ve got some more Orks to clean up (mould lines, gaps etc.) and then prime them.

Now everything is primed. I’m ready to go for the Malathon. (Warning “high res” pictures. aka “my smartphone camera gave everything”)

a lot of nostalgia looking at these old minis 🙂 got many of these boxed up at home myself 🙂 might be fun to dust them off too and have a trip down memory lane 🙂 always loved the old Ghazghkull and his grot standard bearer 😛

Update: I missed the first two days of the paintathon due to… stuff. One day we had the family over for the 7th birthday of my daughter and the other day I played some Star Wars: Legion. (That will be a project soon)

So yesterday I had some time to paint.
