@pagan8th to each their own, I suppose. I treat my GW board games as a source of miniatures, with little interest in the board game aspect of it, actually. Especially the latest Dankwater, which is a fantastic supply of Nurgle goodness. I bought two boxes just for the Nurgle beasties!

They make all sorts of add-ons/inserts for boardgames these days …
Expensive as f*ck of course and kind of stupid as well, because (board)games should fit inside their boxes. -

I know they make foam inserts, but they add significantly to the cost of the game.
Shouldn’t have to pay extra just because the company that makes the game does stupidly fragile poses with brittle plastic for a board game.
They are tokens to move around a board, not miniatures you paint up for a display pieces. Single piece plastics would be better.

To be fair: most board games with minis and tokens have trouble getting back into the box. Especially if you grab yourself expansions.
With miniature games I have given up on “getting everything in a box”. Either the game is growing because I like it so I need bigger and bigger boxes all the time or I stopped playing and then it can be “archived”…[Read more]
