Since someone mentioned the Orks I included in my terrain project, I thought I’d post the pics I have of them on here. These were all painted a couple of years ago now for playing 2nd Edition 40k with (this is a 1,500pt army).
Da Boss! Banners are very era appropriate for Oldhammer, so I was sure to include quite a few in my army, though I’ve used plastic Skaven ones (with different banner toppers). Other than the Boar Boyz and Gretchin, all the models are from Rogue Trader era.
Bad Moon squad! I’d already painted an Imperial Fists army, so I made the yellows here a little more orange tinted to differentiate the colour schemes (check out the Imperial Fist marine helmet that the Nob is standing on! XD)
Evil Sunz squad – these were the first squad I painted up.
Gretchin squad together with army standard bearer. These are modern sculpts, but like the rest of the models in the army, they were sculpted by the ‘Gobbo Master’ himself, Kev Adams. These are currently sold by Knightmare Miniatures.
Little egg dreads! I do have the expansion parts to make these larger, but theyre more adorable at this size. The red one is equipped with a Kustom Force Field rather obviously converted from the Shokk Attack Gun.

Snake Bite boarboys. I’ve used Lizardmen parts for the banners and swords, and converted the Bigboss’ Cyboar to be rearing up.
Shokk Attack Gun, with Snotling ammunition & Runherd. The Gretchin is there to throw squigs into the warp entrance portal so the snotlings follow ^^. Not sure if the Mek is sticking his tongue out in concentration, or if he’s just been hanging around the Snotlings too long.
