Oni Kishin Raiu and Kiba Combine Samurai Aesthetics With Monstrous Power
June 11, 2026 by avernos
Para Bellum Games has been showing off some more stunning 35mm Fantasy miniatures that are now available for you to pre-order for July. To be used in their wargames, Conquest: First Blood and Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings.
Oni Kishin Kiba // Para Bellum Games
Having ascended beyond mortal concerns and survived a perilous journey through the Elemental Hells, the Oni Kishin represent some of the most formidable warriors within the Yoroni. Bonded to powerful Kirin mounts discovered during their spiritual trials, these elite cavalry embody honour, strength, and an unrelenting desire for glory. The Kiba variant wields massive Odachi blades, symbolising their hunger for challenge as they thunder across the battlefield atop their fearsome steeds.
In First Blood, the Oni Kishin Kiba excel as devastating assault cavalry, using their immense greatblades to carve through enemy formations and strike deep into opposing battle lines. Their combination of speed, durability, and offensive power makes them ideal for leading aggressive attacks and exploiting weaknesses in the enemy's position.
Oni Kishin Raiu // Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings
The Oni Kishin Raiu are another manifestation of these enlightened warrior spirits, armed instead with ceremonial yari that channel the fury of a storm. Mounted upon their Kirin companions and adorned with striking banners, they represent the perfect balance of martial discipline, spiritual power, and overwhelming battlefield presence. Their imposing appearance is matched by a battlefield role focused on smashing through even the toughest opposition.
In both First Blood and The Last Argument of Kings, the Raiu serve as powerful shock cavalry and specialist monster hunters. Equipped with the Fiend Hunter and Titanic Defiance special rules, they excel at bringing down Brutes and Monsters while remaining fearless in these deadly encounters. Their ability to enter the battlefield via Flank allows them to threaten key targets from unexpected directions, making them a dangerous choice for Yoroni commanders looking to counter powerful enemy creatures.

They are a bit nice.
Those look absolutely amazing. I don’t play the game but I’d get these just to act as display pieces.
