A spring clean of my old Martian Empires collection with the hope of taking my forces from Earth to Mars and adding some as senery

Hills
Third day if Mars building. I've made these from spare bits of old builds and flocked them up for extra ricks and hills. I want to do some vegetation with red weed and some purple poppy trees next
Back to Mars
I was thinking of getting a mat for my Mars games but I couldn't find any I liked the look of. I wanted something a bit more vivid. So I got some bright red and yellow spray paint from Wilko's and reworked some old boards that are already textured up. I really like the finished results 
Mr Ripper and police
Looking at painting some police I had a look at some Victorian truncheons which were often decorated. I hint at this in my painting. These are on display at the museum I work at so most things crime related I have a good source

Artillery
I wanted my Martian expedition force to look different vto my home service artillery so I'm going for tropical navy dress
Lancers done
Thanks for the advice. I chopped off some bristles when the wife wasn’t looking. As you can see the white bristles are slightly bigger and better. Finished painting them up today
