This game has you playing as the Vipers and Raiders from the updated version of the show that hit TV screens a few years ago. You will be embracing the array of different mechanics that made space combat in the show so awesome with lots of spinning around and blasting foes in zero gravity.

I wonder does the movement of Vipers resemble the one in the series http://www.aresgames.eu/21681 didnt quite explain it…But the video does! Great!
Sounds bit more nuanced than x-wing. I love x-wing so I’ll have to check it out.

Ships look great, looking forward to seeing a Let’s Play.. and I can’t wait to get this game on my table.

Watched the first series in the olden days and have fond memories… less said about the series that was set on earth with a bunch of scouts the better…
Reboot series started well, but far to religious and dragged out too long… fast forward through the last 2 series mostly

Looks like this game is going to be more about tactics than lists with ship/pilot combos.
Totally up for seeing more of this.

Looks great, hopefully they will have tournament support and are able to keep retailers stocked. My only issue with Wings of Glory line is that there are certain models that are forever unavailable.
Not what I was expecting at all! Plenty of options for a full on immersive game. Great stuff!

Looks great, prefer the original ships. Used to have the Cylon Raiders ship with the mini cylon pilot and the wings opened up to fire missiles from them. Kids today don’t know what they miss’t

I like the idea of the similar Star wars and star trek games, but always feel like I got to them too late!! Too much to collect and catch up. This though, hopefully not a huge range of models, so I won’t feel like I’m missing anything and just the pure adrenalin rush of my childhood coming to life!! Looks great!!!

Definately not an X-Wing clone. The movement mechanics seem awesome, especially the turning and momentum.
I don’t see large ships having a place in this dogfighting game, there’s already enough complexity managing just the fighters.
Can we have the classic Starbuck as played by Dirk Benedict ?
Will those characters have different skills/abilities compared their rebooted variants ?
And given that the new series has traitors amongst the humans … is there a mechanic within the game that allows for his ?

I like battlestar galactica. It had some weirdness but somehow seemed for grounded or believable than most other series.

I was hoping to see this at GenCon but they didn’t have it out. Looks awesome!
The rotation/conservation of momentum mechanic sounds nifty; that one thing a lot of sci-to forgets about – a ship will have its engines disabled and just stop dead when in reality it should continue at a constant speed unless affected by forces such as gravity, solar winds, etc.
sometimes it is easier to ignore it and play ‘WW 2 dogfights in space’ … and yet at the same time it creates the opportunity for weird maneuvres that show how different the game is when compared to ‘traditional’ dogfights.
I was thinking more of sci-fi in general, not just games; eg in the last Star Wars film when the Resistance ships ran out of fuel they just stopped and got left behind by the others when they should have kept pace with the others.
Could replace my addiction t xwing!
Now this has me interested i do like the drift aspect and the models do look good.

For the Let’s Play, you should recreate the Ragnar’s Battle, so epic.

These guys were incredibly friendly and very proud of this game. I’m impressed. Never jumped into X Wing but as I said earlier, I’m holding out for the classic ships from the original TV series. They told me they will come out next year!
A couple of friends of mine did play test this on FRI and they said it has some very nice details during combat like the pilot being injured due to hits, not just the ship. Sounds cool!
As far as facing off back at BOW that has to be Lloyd and Warren!

This one I’d really like, stopped buying X-Wing due to FFG being part of Asmodee, and I will not support that company due to their crappy B&M enforcement.
I love BSG and I love X Wing so this is kind of a dream release for me. I would love to see some of the original 70’s ships make their way into the game, too. Also some of the back story pilots such as a young Adama using his Husker callsign.

I like it, as great as star wars is, I’ve always thought galactica ship design was better.
so far looks like a great game. it is a good idea to make it a little more complex in space battles, but not to daunting to put people off. I would remove the instant death tokens, to make the game more lasting.
I dont like the look of those hex cards right now, but I’m loving their use of momentum to flip ships.

The game mechanics definitely have my interest peaked, hope they add a few varieties of Fighters and maybe even get some new designs? A Viper Bomber? A Cyclone Destroyer?

I am really liking the look of the ships, and I really like the way it seems to be about how out fly your enemy to get a shot… I think I would enjoy this a lot more than x-wing, which seems to be more about taking good combinations o upgrades…. Plus vipers are the coolest star fighters ever.
Loved the tv series old and modern. Hope this plays as well.

Looking good – liked the wings of war/glory system, and Love BG as a game setting.
I’m in regardless, but an extra set would be good.

I loved that show and seeing the mechanic that can give that feel of dodge fight is great.

Wow: I am really impressed. Battlestar Galactica plays in realistic 3D, 3D manoeuvre and proper 3D shooting ranges, This game will make me a bankrupt.
I almost can’t wait to see what they do with the great battle wagons of the Base Stars and Battle Stars.

Interesting mechanics, a little bit of dropfleet in there maybe with the elevation changes.and I immediately thought of Babylon 5 with the inertia and direction changes.
