May 12, 2026 by brennon
Warfulcrum Games previewed some of the new miniatures that they are going to be bringing to Kickstarter soon to expand their World War I wargame, 1918. Allies on the Aisne is coming very soon, covering miniatures for the French and the Americans.
Allies on the Aisne // Warfulcrum Games
When diving into this campaign, you'll get access to all of the major infantry, vehicles, weapon teams and field guns that would have fought on the Western Front for both the United States and the French Republic during The Great War and 1918.
Currently, this means you'll be able to get historically accurate platoons like the French Rifle Platoon and the US Rifle Platoon, plus specialists, officers, NCOs and support staff. The US Rifle Platoon can also be used as a USMC Rifle Platoon, which is nifty. You can see some of the upcoming French below...

As well as that, you'll also be able to get vehicles for both of the nations. This means the likes of the Renault FT, the Peugeot Armoured Car, the Schneider CA1, and the Saint-Chamond tank. This will be supported by the fittingly support weapon teams, which include machine guns, mortars and more.
All of this will be accompanied by a new scenario booklet/PDF covering the Battle of Aisne, a battle in which American troops arrived to prove their worth! As with everything that Warfulcrum has made for 1918, the miniatures will be available as STL files and as physical miniatures, so you don't need a 3D printer to get involved.
Lastly, the Kickstarter will also reprint the 1918 Core Rulebook (with up-to-date errata), plus plenty of miniatures from the previous Kickstarter, which covered the British and the Germans.
This expands the options for those diving into 1918 to four nations and plenty of kit to get you started!
What do you make of the French teasers? Could you be tempted by the American miniatures?
