I never noticed this series before. Thank you for putting it on the front page.
I bought Imperial Assault several months ago and the first thing I wanted to do after the first time playing it was to paint the models. I found these guides and watched them as i hadnt painted models for years (almost decades!) and they were great guides. well narrated and articulated as well as being really helpful. just waiting for the other model guides…..
Nice to see such a well made painting series!
Awesome! I’ve spent several sessions experimenting with techniques for painting lightsabers and I’ve never come up with anything that looks as good as that.. so I will be sure to try and reproduce that effect on my own Imperial Assault and converted Infinity minis 😀
Very nice!
One additional tip, you can get coloured clear plastic tooth pics (bar accessories for cocktails), I picked up a packet when I was converting the wotc minis, looked incredible as they flouresced slightly in uv / daylight.
He tried to paint minis once or twice before 🙂
Well done and a great result in the end
such a good video for many mini’s! now im off to play SWTOR 😛
That’s excellent, especially considering the miniature one starts with !
I have been following these videos as I paint through this game as well. For those that haven’t watched he mentions some advanced things folks can do but that the guide is intended for lazy and neophyte painters who want to get their guys painted quickly. I wish he would make more and get those rebel heroes painted!
Highly enjoyed watching the videos in this series. It is indeed very impressive (most impressive?) how these end up looking after being painted.
Looking cool, as soon as i finish SoB, im starting on my Imperial assault 🙂
Having just bought this game and all the available expansions at the weekend this series is somewhat perfectly timed.. On to the Rebels next I hope.
Good on you guys for putting his guides up on your site! They’re great guides and really well done.
dammit, now I want imperial assault.
