I think this is your way of making me think about painting Reichbusters. I wonder should i paint it.. WW2 or WW3
lovely job, btw.
The hairspray technique I’ve used before but there’s always something else to learn about by watching others. The Greenstuff world mud effect gel I’ve not seen that before. I liked the overall effect plus the small details regarding the fuel spillage based on personal knowledge. Trouble is now we all have that knowledge and will have to go back and add stains to all our models.
The end result is stunning! I’ve used purpose made chipping mediums and whitewash paints before, I didn’t know hairspray would work this well!
Thank you, tank-god.
a great job john.
Nice work, looks great. The winter whitewash camo is a really good look and very distinctive and this approach makes it easy to achieve.
And I also enjoy the ‘nerdy’ tank chat as well!
Many thanks for taking the time to do this tutorial @johnlyons, really interesting approach to wet mud which is not something I’ve seen before but looks very effective. Also enjoyed your usual tank ramble, but then I would, wouldn’t I ????
