Dawn and Roadie Todd talk about what was disclosed in the Games Workshop Studio Preview here at Adepticon. I have to say there was some amazing surprises!

After the whirlwind announcements from Games Workshop last night, we had a chance to catch our breath and get ready to bring you the best that gaming has to offer. Are you ready? Don't forget to comment for your chance to win an amazing prize!

Warhammer 40k Tournament. The majority of the armies this year appear to be for the Imperium. "Emperor Protect." However those sneaky Xenos races are not that far behind in trying to dominate the field.

Todd gets to talk to Stephen about his custom texture molds for creating bases and other items with Green Stuff.

Winter is coming here to Adepticon. Snow is in the forecast this weekend and the game is about to heat up as the Lannisters and Starks prepare for battle.

As expected, the crowd is loving legion and folks are anxiously awaiting their time at the demo tables. FFG has several beautifully themed tables ready to give gamers their first taste of the game.

Age of Sigmar Tournament. Each army is unique in appearance and exceptionally painted. The display boards also bring each army to life with a story and background. Let your imagination go wild.

The talent displayed in the Crystal Brush Cases never disappoints. Painters are lining up to get their masterpieces into the case and the winners will be announced at 3pm US on Sunday.

Reaper's cases are full of pieces from their Bones range and they look AWESOME! Could you imagine stumbling on one of these dragons while on your quest? I mean, seriously, a live dragon is bad enough, but an undead one-- yikes!

It was a joy to see players taking their first spin on the tables with Legion. Adepticon has done a great job with terrain on the tables, offering a variety settings to bring Star Wars to life.

If you've never checked out the busts from Broken Toad, then you have to see what Ironheart Artisans have on the shelves. These sculpts are just gorgeous, and they still have some Toad In Carbonite too. 🙂

Adepticon is also about the small booths outside of the Vendor Hall. Wherever you go in the convention there is always something to see and interact with.

Oh my gosh. The talent on display in the Crystal Brush cases just continues to grow. I have a few stand out favorites already, what about you?

It's always a pleasure to have a look around Brandon's work. His displays are absolutely incredible and this year his paintings are a focal point.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a big fan of modern warfare games. One company I look to for terrific terrain and other bits and bobs for my modern fix is Miniature Building Authority.

I was drawn into the Laser Craft Workshop stand with these gorgeous buildings. They totally scream Malifaux to me. I could make a career out of assembling MDF terrain- any takers?

Goodnight from Day 1 of Adepticon 2018

Yesterday was the warm-up, today is the start of the craziness! Are you ready to dive in head first?

Just wait to see all the gorgeous pieces filling the Crystal Brush Cases today! Folks are lining up with their entries and each is more stunning than the one before! I don't envy the judges on this one.

The Convention area is where all the magic happens, however the main plaza of the Hotel has its own ambiance as a place to get away from the gaming areas and relax while having some comfort among friends.

Bolt Action Tournament. Wow! the display boards and armies are superb.

Saga Tournament. Vikings! Vikings! and more wait... I believe there are other factions too. Don't lose out on this awesome game. Make sure to get your second edition copy and have a go at it.

Adepticon is hosting Live Trivia sessions at 9pm US in the Winter Garden off the hotel lobby here at the convention center. Last night was Star Wars and the winners got copies of Legion! Tonight It's all about 40K and the questions were created by the GW Design team! Prizes will be GW prints.Tomorrow night will be Game of Thrones trivia and FFG is providing the prize support.
It only costs $5.00 for entry and teams can have a max of 5.

It Live Time From Adepticon!

Players are in heated battles of Deadzone. Mantic's own Joe is even in the mix! It's great to see the variety of games being enjoyed here at the show.

Holy moly. The Crystal Brush Case is FULL of jaw dropping examples of painting talent. I think my favorites are changing every time I look at the cases.

Talon games' new version of "Cav" is a game that pits machine against machine in glorious combat with mechs that have a style reminiscent of battletech and miniatures so fantastic it would make battletech players breathe heavily
