seem to be a few video glitches through the video, couple instances of ghosted video overlay and a silent second at the start.
an interesting interview though =)
Quite interesting ! You don’t see that kind of interview very often. A real treat !
Really enjoyed that latest video.
The question about the stat lines was a great one that I always wondered myself. I thought Allieso’s answer was also on the money. He seems to be a very logical thinker. I like the way that he tries to apply a formula to work out points value, however experience and gut instinct can be the deciding factors in the end.
He also gives a great look into how much work goes into trying to achieve a perfect balance in a set of rules.
I also likes the way he said that modela are king, and that they are the most important part (In some sort of way). The way I would look at is that the set of rules should perfectly represent the model in question. I guess that is looking at it from the hobby side of the game.
Anyway another great video.
An Italian man who speaks such great English – a rare breed!! 😉 I bet you come from the north of the country 😀
I’m waiting for your book Alessio, but I find something a bit odd. You claim to be able to provide service in the field of translation, but at the same time you do not know if your own book will be translated? Seems to me like you are the barefoot shoemaker 😀
Great video. Alessio is a good bloke.
Question for him. We all know he has written the new Ancients rules called Hail Caesar soon to be released from Warlord Games. How different was it, and what challenges did he face in writing a historical rulebook versus his usual speciality of fantasy/science fiction.
Great interview! Nice to see Alessio again!
Thanks again for the nice comments, I feel all warm inside! Oh wait it’s the flu again!
Anyway, to answer a few questions:
– I will translate J into English, but it will take a looot of time, that’s why I’m not sure when it’s gonna happen!
– I have not written Hail Caesar, it was written by none other than Rick Priestley, I just helped out. I am working on something else for Warlord though, and writing historical stuff has been indeed very different from fantasy & sci-fi. It’s a lot less forgiving!
I realy enjoyed the interview. You guys look like you had alot of fun. You guys have a great
website thanks alot for doing such a great job. Me and my gamer friends realy enjoy it.
I wish him all the best of luck 😀
