Would the piece look ok without the overly massive skulls attached?
I just think they look too gimmicky. IMO it should be called what it is because it is built out of the skulls of the none-believers, or because it’s set into a cave that’s entrace is a naturally formed skull shape, or something equally as chaosy, not because it has a few massive sculpted skulls…
id say if you don’t put the skulls on you can build it all up a bit with broken up slate or stone. That would take the sorta cheesy feel from it
I would say: Leave the pillars of and build the Watchtower on it and maybe convert it to some wicked dark sorcerer’s tower, like its stationed at the top of some dark hill.
Yeah thats probably my favorite terrain piece. Painted up just like on the box cover.
John your dob on your profile says Febuary 2001 your only 9 years old? faaaaark man that must have been a tough 9 years.
Hell of a long 9 years 🙂 (fixed btw)
for the size of it as well it’s at a very reasonable price (in GW terms, but then scenery does seem to be the one thing they price in a realistic way)
How long is that in inches? I got an idea to make a diorama into that and it is going to be a big one. More about it when i make new topic to forums.
I have been looking at that for 40k. and i thought it would work well also. thats one good thing about chaos, its everlasting. I play orks but have a good sized chaos army as well so think i might save some money up. thanks john
