Ok everyone, once more the internet makes for wonder and gives some levity. It also has music.

Here’s mine.  A Prussian Stosstruppen Feldkaplan from the first Trench Crusade plastic kit.

I remembered about the PaintComp today and decided that I had a suitable miniature so painted up a Stosstruppen Feldkaplan.  I’ve not got going with the minis I thought I’d be doing this week but I’ll get on to them next.

I’ve got a game of Saga and then Scythe later in the week so may not get too much done.  Anyone else gaming this week?

Ironically, I kind of forgot about the KS/ CGL Battletech saga – which had the ironic effect of building a hype train for me, as I watched it unfold, and nostalgia for 1980s Battletech took over. Result: I have a mountain of Battletech and terrain in various states of painting… and I’ve yet to play a game.

Sounds like the change was to make things easier and better, which makes sense as that’s been Mantic’s MO every time.

I did notice Mantic base adapters for some of the figures.
Is that something that didn’t apply to your armies ?

Anything close to ‘current events’ can get tricky and very uncomfortable when not handled with care.
I think Oriskany and the SitRep podcast have discussed that topic before as ‘modern history’ is their thing.

I do actually have something sinful that I could have used for this month… Sanguine Sin for Carnevale… but I painted them six months ago… so it would be cheating.
