July means more new miniatures for Corvus Belli's 32mm scale Fantasy skirmish game, Warcrow. The forces of the Feudom, Mounthaven and Hegemony of Embersig are getting some new miniatures, starting out with some valiant new knights on their chargers.

Feudom Knights - Warcrow

Feudom Knights // Warcrow

These new Feudom Knights look absolutely amazing and credit to both the sculptor and the painter for making them pop so nicely! They are one of the most powerful cavalry units in the game that work as a battering ram, smashing through the enemy lines and securing your objectives or opening the way for you to challenge the enemy leader.

As well as being good on their own, they also benefit from bonuses from different characters. Pierre Besson being nearby gives them the chance to re-roll dice on the charge. If they have Geneviève with them, they get to re-roll up to two of their defence dice. Some good ways for you to get the most out of these knights.

I really like the poses for both of the miniatures but the green one is my favourite. They look great, leaning over their horse to strike down at some enemy that they're about to clatter into on the battlefield.

Unrelenting Dwarves

Next up, we've got some more muscle for the Mounthaven Dwarves. Rather than sticking to the stereotype of Dwarves being a solid, defensive force, the Unrelenting are the ones that charge into the heart of the action to smash their way through those in their way.

Unrelenting - Warcrow

Unrelenting // Warcrow

Whilst the Feudom Knights above are battering rams in their own right, these Unrelenting troops have a command ability that does the same. It can smash aside defenders who have hunkered down and shove them off objectives, sending the enemy into disarray.

As well as that, they also have the Iron Skin, Steel in the Bone passive rule, which allows them to add their attack modifier to their charge without suffering stress. This means that they can be quite quick should they have their blood up!

The miniatures are so heavily armoured and their weapons are getting to Final Fantasy levels of large! I don't quite know what I make of them. I've liked a lot of the Mounthaven miniatures but these aren't quite doing it for me. It might be the overabundance of gold/yellow in the scheme.

Black Powder & Muscle

Last but not least, we have a set of two miniatures for the Hegemony of Embersig. See what you make of the Gunnery Corporal & Engineer.

Gunnery Corporal & Engineer - Warcrow

Gunnery Corporal & Engineer // Warcrow

This set introduces more tactical support options for the Hegemony on the tabletop. The Gunnery Corporal introduces more accuracy for your ranged units, whilst the Engineer can mess around and sabotage the battlefield, whilst also keeping your war machines operational.

For example, the Gunnery Corporal can use their Coordinated Fire rule to chain their ranged attacks together from different units before the enemy can react. The Engineer also has a rule where they can offer Mechanical Support, replenishing wounds on the likes of a War Frame through their Repair and Maintenance rule.

There is more to get out of both of these figures but you can discover that for yourself! I like both of the miniatures that are in cool action poses. The Corporal is getting ready to take a shot whilst the Engineer is hefting some rubble out of the way to smack you on the head with it, probably!

What do you make of these new Warcrow miniatures?
