May 6, 2026 by brennon
David Soderquist of Bronze Age Miniatures is now on Kickstarter with their campaign to bring a band of Rubble City Adventurers to Fantasy tabletops. This 32mm scale range features new characters and more for you to use as part of your Bronze Age adventures.
Rubble City Adventures // Bronze Age Miniatures
Persuaded to dive into this project by Ian Brumby (Fenris Games) and Meg Warrington (miniatures painter and fan of Bronze Age), this set of 32mm scale figures comes in pewter and gives you some great options for this style of Fantasy adventure on the tabletop, be that as part of a roleplaying game or a skirmish game.
Adventurers // Bronze Age Miniatures
The first set of miniatures features some awesome options for you to choose from for your Fantasy Bronze Age. You get a Great Orc with an axe and shield, clad in Mycenean "Bell" armour. You then have two Scythian-styled Humans (male and female) and two Mycenean Humans (male and female). You also have an Assyrian Dwarf with a warhammer and shield at the ready and a female Elf with bronze leaf armour and a curved sword. There is also a fun female Duck in a chainmail tunic with a gladius sword and a torch for dungeon delving.
The second set introduces some more Great Orcs into the mix as Add-Ons.

These Orcs have arms and heads that are, for the most part, interchangeable, so you can create all sorts of different Orc adventurers to use in your games. They once again feature arms and armour with that Bronze Age vibe. A great set for someone perhaps diving into a skirmish game with a bit of a Bronze Age twist?
There is also a miniature of the deadly Medusa included as part of the project. She is also available as an Add-On for those backing the project.

If you're looking to dive into this project, there is just under a month left for you to sink your teeth into it. The Bronze Age is certainly a period that evokes awesome myths and legends and twinning that with more of a Fantasy vibe to include various lineages and such is a nice way to spice up adventures on the tabletop.
What do you make of the miniatures?

Interesting and good looking sculpts. But IMHO the female Orc could have gone with a little less air in the balloons.
Rudely done female figures, most of the rest look average; it’s a pass as a KS.
I like the line of sculpts. A departure from general impression of what fantasy figures should look like as the motif is unique. I applaud the work but regret my lack of funds to purchase.
