North Star Preview More Monstrous Warriors Of Athena Foes
June 24, 2026 by brennon
North Star Military Figures previewed more of the foes that you'll be able to pick up for Warriors of Athena as part of the second wave of releases. This sits alongside the recent plastic set previews for your mythological Greek heroes.
Cerberus, Cyclops & Mythic Lion // Warriors of Athena
The miniatures above represent more of the foes that you'll run into when playing your games of Warriors of Athena. The Cyclops are ideal for your first questline in the game and will then be followed up by encounters with the likes of Cerberus and the Mythic Lion. Some nice miniatures that fit with the aesthetic of the other miniatures in the range and the new plastic kit.
North Star also previewed some of the miniatures alongside existing 28mm scale figures so you can see how they measure up.
Cerberus - Scale Comparison // Warriors of Athena
Mythic Boar - Scale Comparison // Warriors of Athena
Here, you can see how both Cerberus and the Mythic Boar, whom you'll square up against during your games. Whilst there's no reason why you couldn't get miniatures from anywhere to use as part of Warriors of Athena, it's nice to see what North Star are bringing together, an aesthetically joined-up set of miniatures for those who like that kind of thing.
What do you make of more of these Warriors of Athena previews?

That’s Cerberus? Odd that there’s a snake tail, Cerberus is supposed to be a normal dog except for being giant and 3 headed. Looks like they got it conflated with a chimera or something.

I thought the same until I Googled it. Seems some versions of the legend have him with a serpents’s tail.
I’m more interested in the boar for Celtic adventures – that’s Twrch Trwyth (I had to treble-check the spelling as it doesn’t seem easy for a Saxon like me to remember).
The Lion is perfect for Aslan.
Oh, cool! I can totally see Harryhausen bringing these to life!
