The Brotherhood of Mutants, led by Magneto
Sorastro just released his video on Juggernaut, so I’m super excited to work on him. He’s going to be fun.

The Cabal
At time of writing, the Cabal is complete save for unreleased mins. Dormammu will have tons and tons of baddies to choose from when he finally drops.

Criminal Syndicate, led by Kingpin
Hood and Shadowlands Daredevil to go and faction will be complete again. Excited for them to get a new leader, should shake up their playstyle a bit.

Defenders are fully painted now and are such a massive faction that I don’t have a backdrop prepared that can accommodate a group picture.

Spider Foes, led by Green Goblin
My favorite Sega game growing up was Maximum Carnage. Basically, Carnage and a bunch of bad guys start slaughtering everyone and so Spiderman has to team up with Venom and pretty much every other Spiderman adjacent good guy to try to take him down. The game was really fun and I’ve loved Carnage and Venom as characters ever since. Thus, this faction is one of my favorites. Green Goblin and Kingpin in particular were far more fun to paint then I thought they would be.

Uncanny X-Men painted so far.
X-Men, led by Cyclops
This faction has been really fun to paint. Blue and yellow are colors I’ve become very comfortable painting, so these models have painted up really quickly and have been really fun to paint. I think had I painted these a year or two ago it might have been a painful experience. I grew up with the 90’s X-Men cartoon, so every time I paint up a classic X-Man I get that theme song going in my head. X-Men are easily one of my favorite things about Marvel, so I cannot wait for new releases for this faction.

Wakanda painted so far.
Kingdom of Wakanda, led by their King, T'Challa
Wakanda has been a real challenge to paint. Black Panther was one of the models I cut my teeth on when learning to paint black. I also was new to painting muscles with him. I’ve learned a lot since then and it makes me wonder how much different he would look today were I to repaint him. Storm was the most intimidated I’ve ever been to paint a model and the paint job I feel the most mixed about. Faction is done for now.

Web Warriors, led by Miles Morales
Growing up Venom and Spiderman were some of my all time favorite characters. Getting to paint them has been a dream come true. I’m really excited to see what future releases for this faction will look like. Until then, the faction is ready to go.
