Talking AFTERLIFE With Anvil Industry
We sit down to chat with Anvil Industry about what's happening with AFTERLIFE. They've got a rather cool looking vehicle set up and are selling a fair bit of their range too.
Have you been won over by the Anvil range?

Did you just get video bombed by Solid Snake?
What a cool idea to present a game.
#nags…
however, I love their presentation.Hopefully they will be at UKGE
Nice presentation
Just looked over their range, and I am liking the Unity counsel quite a lot.
Thats looking very nice.
The light up board in the back looks sweet
available from Laser Terrain. http://laserterrain.co/
Saw them at Carronade last year, their stuff is great. My brother picked up a starter and the models are gorgeous.
Great presentation that glow in dark board is lovely.
It costs very little to factory pack things better. But boy does it make storing and carting round a lot easier.
Great idea for doing demos.
Wow, I’m not a big Sci-fi game fan, but then I saw lighted up board I was shocked. It looks great. Maybe the game is also interesting. Good advertaisment. Great packaking of miniatures, box that you can use for transport painted figures. Big plus
That is one cool way to sell your game, awesome.
Love the underground base with the led light.
I love those LED bases
Looks fun, Guys that is a crazy and cool idea.Well done those guys. I would buy from them just for the novelty.
Nice touch with the defender and the demo games.
Nice little idea with the landy. Great looking game too
Mobile gaming!
what scale is the vehicle please?
The Rover is 1:1… Sorry, couldn’t resist =)
That’s the bee’s knees
That was a great idea by Anvil!! Loved the lighting and overall look of the Table in the back!
lol loving the landrover! really neat idea!
That light up table is insane!
That’s awesome!! come on Games Workshop, when are you going to run a demo game of the new edition of 40k from the back of that Rhino of yours, you’re slipping! haha Anvil, you’ve made my weekend, that’s ace!
Looks like my kind of game. Models look pretty good too.
got some unity guards & the Isaias Cortez mini to use with 7TV & Gates Of Antares campaigns, can’t fault the minis – very clean & crisp mouldings that went together really well. Really like the starter sets – especially the fact that the boxes can be used to safely store the minis in afterwards.
A great jeep for everyday use 😀 It’ll be handy sometimes 😀
Looks awsome never visited the show, will definitely pay a visit next year. Loving the effort gone in. Must check this game out
NIce. A few minis and a small table. And Anvil has some really high quality minis and accessories.
I like the idea of putting foam in the box, then you don’t have to buy them separate.
Fantastic of running the demo games like that.
Wow demo’s in a defender.
That is just so cool. What a great job.
A great way to attract attention and demo the game.
A great way to show off your product. .two thumbs up.
Nice stuff!
Cool way to present the game. Should get people interested in it and get their attention.
Nice concept for a game look forward to the in-depth reviews
never heard of this game before. looks neat!
Very generous of Anvil Industries to give away the armored vehicle in the huge-bundle 😉 Also the lighting terrain is so gorgeous, just wish it was a bit more affordable.
this did it’s job – it’s got me checking into their game which was not previously on my radar
Hmmmm Afterlife, may have to check this out.
Ooooo. NIce.
Love it!
they have great minis, need to get more 🙂
the light up terrain setup looks cool
These guys deserve an award ! ^^
Looking good!
Great idea for the demo games, they have a great range of miniatures and I love their starter boxes, the foam inserts are a nice touch.
love it when people go the extra mile.
Loved the presentation. A real eye catcher
Good to see the Laser Terrain stuff went ahead despite the failed kickstarter. That stuff just looks gorgeous.
Some company know how to grab the attention of passers-by.
That’s a great idea for the packaging!
Why has nobody licked Justin’s head yet?
Okay that looks like a really fun way to enjoy a demo game and a great way to attract some attention.
That’s one hell of a way to present a game.
2 demo games 1 in the boot 1 on the bonnet.
hahaha this clip made my day. awesome
Great idea for a show demo. Love it.
Nice! I’m sure they’ll be drawing plenty of attention with that set up!
I’ve got a few bits from Anvil and their quality is very good. And a really good customer support too!
I got into their kickstarter way back in the day. The minis are really well designed and I can’t wait to see what the future will hold for Afterlife.
Anvil make some fantastic mini’s. I have several of their little tracked gun carriages that are used as my Imperial Guard Heavy Weapon Teams.
That demo game in the boot looks pretty amazing, but I am a massive sucker for LEDs
It always good to see people enjoying what they do
I have to say I am filled with envy every time I see one of these great convensions but I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like I am there as I paint away and watch this coverage 🙂 !!!
Any word on the future direction of the game? It;s a great little rules set and the models are outstanding.
I really love the Anvil figures
the glowing terrain looks great
Not sure about the game, but the guys sure are fun loving.
Anvil stuff is great! I really should use more of it!
I was home late and scrolled down the blog just to see if you had caught up with Anvil as I knew they would be at Salute. Have two forces for Afterlife and was hoping to hear of some new stuff being released. Any chance you could ask about that?
That’s one hell of a “demo table”… and that’s my kind of subtlety too! lol!
Great way to catch everyone’s attention and get them to have a look at your game.
Haven’t heard of the game before but that board with the lighted floor is awesome looking.
Love the tables.
They look fantastic.
Better nice eye catching way to display the products.
Nice cosplay 🙂
hmmm will have to look more into this.
Always thought they have great stuff, i need to pull the trigger on some.
Light up board rules. Yet another cool looking game.
amazing stuff
What a great effort! I’d love to see more companies going this all Out!
Okay they brought an armored vehicle, they win.
It may be a bit of a strange thing to do, but 12 year old me would love to demo the underground installation in the back of a Defender. 40 year old me wants to drive the Defender.
Interesting
Pure dedication!
Love the glowing gameboard!!!
love to see a lets play on this
Well…with so many cool looking tables you have to be inventiv….and they certainly where…cool presentation!
Best..demo…table…ever
Great stall, very subtle. I picked up a few minis from Anvil and they’re very good indeed!
It’s quite an original idea to run your demo games on the bonnet of your amoured car :).
Very cool, game in back of Rover looks sweet and fun. Haven;t ever seen these, might have to go look at them now.
Brilliant PR and Presentation. Got my attention while I was there
nice setup
hahaa, top marks for presentation! and that underlit board – so damn nice. ive bought a few things from anvil in the past – brilliant sculpts and casts. definitely planning on buying more in the future
Brilliant idea for a display.
As an Anvil Industries fan I’m loving the subtlety! I didn’t even recognize Joel. Hallo from Canada!
you have to love a company that is willing to go the extra mile… the truck, the uniforms, and that lit board… amazing.
Nice idea to present their game. Makes packing up pretty easy too.
That light up board is cool
what a fantastic idea ! WELL DONE A. Industry
what a great idea for the show. happy to see someone trying out new things.
looks interesting.
This game has such a great ruleset, just wish I could find the time to paint all my minis….
Absolutely love Anvils stuff, spent along time drooling over it at Salute lol
The underground facility reminds me of the mass effect relic dungeons..
From what I’ve seen of the minis they look great.
Afterlife looks fun but I haven’t bought in yet. Want to know more about the scenery inside the truck. Wasn’t that covered on a Weekender?
Great to see these guys have expanded from doing bits for 40k – some lovely looking miniatures there, and a great set!
Those tables do it for me I am actually quite tempted just by seeing the demo setup on that maginificent table.
Love that underground board that they made
really like that led glowing floor MDF terrain.
That particular game is interesting
I’ve been painting Anvil’s display models for a while now. Some pics here: http://www.winterdyne.com/gallery/#SCIFI
looks fantastic!
wonder how many police were tailing that landrover on the way into London?
Starter boxes with foams is a such nice thing for us who have to fly these shows.
Fun seeing the games played on that vehicle.
Gotta love that light up board!
Fantastic prize. Looks like a fun game
awesome!
This was cool!
Great game!
The Afterlife minis are so nice!
This was a great show!
Seems interesting but not detailed images for minis, so let’s look on the net about this game.
that gaming table <3
Looks like a cool game, respect on the presentation.
I have been looking at afterlife for a while now. Never got into it. Maybe with these new factionboxes I will.
Heh 🙂 Cool!
Anvil Industry rox!
I like this terrain!
