Horrifying Cavalry, Valiant Knights & Ancient Spirits For Warcrow!
May 6, 2026 by brennon
Corvus Belli has been sneaking peeks at what's lined up for their 32mm Fantasy wargame Warcrow during May and June. These new miniatures cover the Scions of Yaldaboath, Feudom and the Mounthaven Dwarves.
Harvesters // Warcrow
We start with some elite Elven cavalry that have found their way into the ranks of the Scions of Yaldaboath. The Harvesters are nightmares on horseback, traversing any terrain and absorbing damage through the use of the tinge. They are also great at sending waves of fear through the enemy, making them particularly good against foes with low Willpower.
They also look excellent. You've got some horrifying headless horseman vibes going on with these and those terrifying scythes carry through that spectre of death vibe. I think it would be interesting to see different paint schemes for these to see how they look with different colours.
Sticking with the Scions of Yaldaboath, we also have the creepy Kipleacht.
Kipleacht // Warcrow
The Kipleacht works as both a bodyguard and a predator on the battlefield. It has the ability to leap out of nowhere and pin down a key enemy like a mage of an officer. It also features a bit of area denial in its rules, slowing down enemy units and giving them a choice. Stick around and try and fight it, or flee and take automatic damage in the process!
The Kipleacht looks insane, twisted and very, very weird! I love what the painter of this studio miniature did, introducing the tinge creeping its way across the ground beneath the creature.
Valiant Knights
As well as the Scions of Yaldaboath, we also have a new character for the forces of Feudom.
Pierre Besson, Grand Magister // Warcrow
Pierre Besson is the typical iron fist in a velvet glove. He is a heavy investment of points but he brings some serious power to your Feudom forces on the tabletop. As you might have guessed, he is excellent when used alongside other cavalry miniatures. Join a unit of knights and essentially delete an enemy unit with a powerful charge. He also has a real hate of magics, hunting down enemy spellcasters.
As a miniature, Besson is stunning. This is going to be a wonderful painting project for someone to dive into, especially if you like working on fabrics and shining armour. He looks like a fearsome foe for anyone thinking of facing down the Feudom.
Ancestors & Doughty Warriors
Last but not least, we have more for the Mounthaven Dwarves. New support comes in the form of the Anvil and Veteran that were previewed back during the AdeptiCon reveals in March.
Anvil & Veteran // Warcrow
I really like the design of the Mounthaven Dwarves. The geometric armour is brilliant and looks like it's going to be a joy for those who love a bit of edge highlighting (or drybrushing if you're me). You also get a sense of their culture in the different miniatures. At one end, you have those grizzled warriors with their axes and hammers and at the other you have those running around with some serious firepower like the lady above!
We also have some bigger miniatures for the Mounthaven Dwarves, too. See what you think of Waljan, the Last of the First.
Waljan, the Last of the First // Warcrow
Wajlan is a bit of a contradiction, according to Corvus Belli. He is at once unstoppable but also fragile due to having low morale. But, he also comes with a great aggressive resurrection mechanic, which will be excellent for those who want to play with the risk and reward element of Waljan.
Waljan is going to be a target for your enemy as they will have to deal with him. But, even when they do, he'll be back two turns later, ready to smash you to pieces! He also looks awesome and I'd love to see what other paints will do with both the armour and the magical force within. Object source lightning; turn it up to maximum!
Are you going to be picking up some of these new miniatures in May and June?

Pierre Besson and Waljan are great miniatures, the harvesters are nice too.
A good set of figures that the paint does justice by. I’m not moved to buy them for use but the “shiney!” impulse is strong. My congratulations to all artists involved.
