@scribbs I’ve got quite a bit from the John Jenkins line on my table I’ll get to after my Indians. I do recommend them as very good sculpts. I also picked up some of the Scotia Grendel Dragon Prince stuff that is good for anyone thinking epic wuxia action should be added to their builds.

Indeed horati0nosebl0wer. not many Classical/Mauryan Indian lines around, at least in terms of modern sculpts. The ones above are about the latest I know of.
and you’re right of course, tracking down info on the armies is nigh on impossible unless you have big bucks (or kept all your WRG stuff 🙂 )

Well, you could do a lot worse than cribbing Adam Ant’s style, and he had plenty of that to go around!

WAB was great though I’m not sure what I’m doing still playing the same rules which i started using in the early 2000’s lol 🙂

Bravo! A very clean and poppy painted unit. I’m surprised to see more Indians but its good to have them about and more options for armies. I feel there hasn’t been much interest until late to sculpt new lines en masse.
Tracking down the history for the most widely available lines was a pain.

Seems the best of both worlds to just get them pre-painted assuming the paint isn’t on to thick. If it’s cheaper not painted then I guess there’s a case to be made.

I suppose you are right on that – takes more time to get the narrative into the fold

You certainly have to walk something of a tightrope with gaming rules so you don’t get that issue for sure
