Caption competition: James shows of his cheerleading pose. Notice how Justin has cunningly disguised his Borat swimwear for a shirt and tshirt? Clever guy is our Justin. 😀 hehe
Never let the truth be known!
Awesome screenshot! See you guys in a couple of hours 🙂
was a great game james 🙂
Bow Justin
What a great picture! You earned that sweet moment of ecstasy Jimbo! How did it compare to passing a cool Mil on the Deadzone KSer? Must be on par…..
Loving dreadball academy! And dreadball itself in fact – just been enjoying painting up the great buzzcut model that arrived with the season 2 shipment recently 🙂 … Just a quick rules point – turning on the spot DOES lose you a throwing dice, as written in the main rule book (though it does not add anything to a slam). Having said that I’m sure I’m guilty of many rule mistakes every time I play 🙂
It’s nice to get a feel for the flow of the game with the full rules in play. I have to say, the rulebook is not the clearest I’ve encountered, and I was a little worried about play bogging down. But watching this video cleared up a lot of points, and really highlights how the card deck dramatically changes the flow of the game. I can see how some of those specialist teams (all strikers, no jacks or vice versa) get more balanced out with the addition of events and special actions. Working on getting my first team painted (Orks. I’m waiting on a replacement arm sprue for my human team due to mispack. Mantic customer service is totally on it though). I’m already thinking about which team I want to pick up next though. I’m thinking the Veermyn might be right up my alley.
Excellent. I love watching games being played.
Hang on – wouldn’t Warren’s last turn have ended early because the Jack failed to catch the ball? Or does losing control of the ball like that only count if you had the dice to attempt a catch?
It’s been coming up a lot on the Mantic Forums lately; wanted to check.
