i like the look of this game
I think I would go for The Scylla and Ash & Oak.
Is there a reason why there are 2 versions of the starter sets? Is it just two bundle deals?
They just come with different characters if you’d prefer to start playing using a different set of models
Your heroes can recruit a variety of different henchmen, makes for a different game each time you play.
There doesn’t appear to be much overlap between any of the starters, either. That’s nice if you’re trying to build up some options on a budget.

couldn’t afford a ticket before they sold out, but i got myself a Gigantic Golem and a bag of magnets to put together while i watch over the weekend, and for those who think a giant robot is a strange way to get into a new game, I say iv got a GIANT ROBOT.
Gigantic Golem is awesome, need to get mine assembled. Love my Ash and Oak and Van Rier are very interesting to play.
Ye man you should really consider getting one, super nice to clean up and get ready, im trying to finger out where to put some magnets on it, but a standard assembly would take no time. But come on Inventors all the way, although Ash &Oak do have lady Dorothy on the awesome bike thing, so not the worst choice.
Looking forward to seeing everyone get down and dirty with their teams.

Who are the three special Boot Camp figures shown on the web site? What faction(s) do they work for? The halfing looks like an Inventor but could work for Scylla, the swordsman Ash and Oak and the lady Ven Rier?

You could say inspirational as I’ve always wanted to add to my steampunk miniatures and so I’ve put in an order for Ash and Oak – Lady Dorothy Quimby and that Captain Frederik Olafsson exclusive mini. The examples you’ve shown here are brilliant and I hope I can do them justice when they join the queue at my paint station in due course. Anyhow I look forward to seeing how the boot camp concludes.
