I’m tempted to argue that said Rubicon had been crossed before, especially when you look at the degeneration of media that started when ‘reality tv’ became the thing that killed a channel that was dedicated to music videos.
Heck … music videos themselves used to be works of art that told stories in 3 minutes.
Only thing I can say is that I’m kind of glad that I attended school *before* computers were mainstream and before mobile phones started the descent into brain rot.
Which kind of brings me back to my pet peeve : we need to let go of the idea of ‘official’ miniatures and terrain.
As nice as it is to shut down your brain and simply follow instructions to a 3D puzzle.
I wish we could stimulate creativity more and stop being obsessed by the fictional equivalent of button counting.
