The dice Gods are cruel and malevolent, but rumour has it they favour those that offer their first born, or alternatively a cheese toasty. Frankly I don’t have time to make a cheese toasty so first born it is.
The dice god is Crom. He watches games from atop his mountain shrouded in dark, gloomy clouds and obscuring mists from a mighty throne in a great cave. Long ago, he imbued players with the will and desire to game as his only gift to man. He does not answer prayers and disfavors weakness. To call upon his favor or even simply mention him is to invite misfortune and regarded by the wise as a curse or expletive. Woe to the man dare ask for his aid in the midst of battle as he only smiles upon those who earn victory from their own endurance, luck or cunning.
I’ve tried allsorts of sacrifices to the dice gods and I still can’t get favourable results when I play against my brother.. but then again I do believe he’s a demi god of Hartley: The God of Fruity Preserves.

Justin should present some sacrificial offerings! 😉
I do, i sacrifice those dice that fail me… 🙂
There ought to be a vlog dedicated to that process 🙂
Just a word of warning from personal experience, that could be really expensive rather quickly 😉

If Justin prays to the dice gods and gets average results, what does Warren do for them?
offering is loin cloth?!
I needs to build me one of those shrines, maybe two, one at home and one at my club.
the goddess of dice is the sister of slaanesh aka the goddess of false promises?
Hmm.. very well.
Granted!
You shall forevermore roll only the blessed fives and sixes..
On a D20.
I never have ‘sacrificed’ or thrown away bad dice – but they do get relegated to the naughty corner.
You’ve got it all wrong.
It does work.
His dice rolling would have been far worse if he didn’t pray at that altar. 😉
hehhe
