Better wear a Hoth-Cloth… because “how not to be seen” and stuff XD
now we know how that ends if you try “not to be seen”
Would you kindly stand up? 😉
*stays hidden*
Ah, @avernos has learned the first rule on “how not to bee seen”. Sadly for him, he’s to large to hide behind the walking and talking terrain piece @lloyd. *Boom*
And now for something completely different.
The Larch.
LMAO.
You’re a good man to ask, have you ever seen the German show the Pythons did and is it any good?
Sadly no. I only know the movies (in English and German) and the TV Series (English). The only show I saw was one of their latest in London which was broadcasted live in to local cinema. Fortunately the translations are great. Translating humour and wordplays is rather hard but the team behind the movies really did it well. Similar to works of Terry Pratchett some jokes are not translated (because the joke wouldn’t work) but replaced by something similar. Oh and I get a huge giggle when the pythons speak “German” in the sketches. Like the dangerous jokes. It’s utter gibberish and nonsense.
Back to the Studio!
I really want to know what it was like now, I know they were brought over to write new jokes for it and for it to be recorded in German.
Well the closest thing I could find (apart from translated Monty Python sketches) is part of the German version of Spamalot … fasten seatbelts!

I tried wearing it but people just thought I was a hill feature.
The hills have eyes!
Table Top Gaming Self-deprecation at its finest. Well done sir.
On the upside at least it’d allow you to cosplay a Hill Giant for once. ?
A Lloyd shaped Christmas tree ?
From a totally otherwise forgotten advert ‘Everyone is a fluffy one’.
Well… “Winter is Coming”….
In April!!
(Can’t believe no one had made a GoT reference before now.)
I thought about it… but it gave me the chills….
This is (one of the reasons) I love the Cigar Box fleece gaming mats 😀
it’s the only reason I own 6 of them. I know some people say you can buy plain fleece blankets for much cheaper but if I can’t wrap myself in the streets of berlin what’s the point 😉
hahahaha true!
@lloyd will have everyone kreeping around the offices like the Gurkha’s by next week.
Lloyd should wear a ghillie suit and just lay down on the table top as terrain and enjoy the ultimate wargame immersion experience.
@lloyd is that difficult terrain or are you just happy to see me…? ;-P
Very inspiring @caesar – got to try that 😉
