I think faction specific tips would be useful to anyone building their ‘start collecting’ sets.

For me the weekend is merely the beginning of my first Ork army project.
Things I’d want to know  :

• How does plan a paint scheme for an army that doesn’t use uniforms like Orks and not look like a mess ?
• face paint and/or tattoos that are easy to reproduce
• How to make vehicles look proper ‘Ork’ ?
  A uniform look works for spacemarines and similar organised armies, but it’d be weird to see identical vehicles in an Ork army.

I also would like to see more examples of contrast paint schemes.
Maybe a basic troop scheme per faction ?
