No pledge, as weekend is nearly done. I have been working on trial models, will have to update the project
As to where the hobby is going, I am not sure, as my reference is mainly the people I speak to and game with. Which doesn’t always align with bits I see online
In general I see a diversification of what people are playing, being counter balanced by the concern of game availability which honestly seems to be the draw for GW games. I do think not all of the current game systems will survive as even those who are playing more niche systems are limiting how many games they take on due to limits on space, scenary, time and money
I do think the increase in players using other rules for miniatures, and turning to either miniature agnostic systems or previous versions (or modified versions) will continue. Particularly with GW games as a lot are being switched off by the combination of 3 year cycle, pricing and rules direction. Although some people do seem to have issues with cadence of updates.
That in turn may lead to a down turn in sales, as it tends to be more working on older projects, which combined with the current world situation may see companies and stores taking a hit
