What do the guys like about the new version of Saga
Yes what do they think of the new edition
Looks like a nice bunch of players. Always have a good time win or lose when you play with and against good people.
They also sound like nice guys 🙂 I could listen to their stories hours long
Saga is something I do want to try sometime soon. I’ll be going to my 3rd Bolt Action Tournament in a few months. I was nervous about going at first but after my last tournament (which was bigger and two days) I realized it was all FUN competition. Everybody was there to have fun and play with minis.

What do the veteran Saga players think of the new rules?
I’m pretty sure Kevin from the interview ran a SAGA demo game I played in at GenCon last year. It was a lot of fun and he made a bunch of new players really enjoy the game.

Nice piece on playing in the Saga tournament. Would like to have heard more of their thoughts on the new edition.
At first I wasnt that keen on tournaments on any miniature game. But as I decided to make my own tournament at the club, many got interested in participating and the tournament went off very well. Both myself and my comrades were surprised that the tournament set-up was very smooth. EVerybody had tables to play on, scenario were already decided and opponentes matched upp and during the course of the day everybody got three good games! now we have a tournament for a different games each month along with escalationleagues. We begin our escalation league for SAGA this summer as of the second sunday of June, we start at 1pts 😉 and work our selfs up 6pts till december for our “grand tournament”
I also think tournaments are a good idea, because it gives you deadlines to polish your minis and hone your rules skills, but many boys around here are so afraid of being “weighted”, they try to avoid them, so they can feel that they could paint great if they wanted to, and they could beat anyone if they wanted to. They just didn’t feel like doing that
