I always disliked Privateer Press for their unabashed, win at all costs attitude. It was like the GW tourney scene on the biggest steroids one could get down the shadiest back alley. “Play like you’ve got a pair” was their literal slogan. BARF.

The club I was running had a schism around the time the PP tourney stuff got really hardcore, and it was awful. People who were fun to even lose badly to became utter arseholes. The club died. However some of those arseholes did go on to win the big tourneys in Seattle and what not that PP was running. So yay for them or whatever.
